2009 - PANArt: Free integral Hang / Free tuning

• Description: PANArt is building the  „free integral Hang“ 2009-2013. They abandon Tuning devices and 440hz standard and tune only by ear (free tuning method).

Übersieht man die verschiedenen Stadien der Hang-Entwicklung, so lässt sich ein Konzentrationsprozess erkennen. Ausgehend von der Vielzahl der Klangmodelle des Hangs der ersten Generation hatte sich Anzahl der Tonskalen schon bei den Instrumenten der zweiten Generation deutlich verringert. Das Integrale Hang wurde nur noch mit einem einzigen Klangmodell gebaut. Um einen D3-Ding ist der Tonkreis A3, Bb3, C4, D4, E4, F4 und A4 angeordnet. Weitere Neuerungen waren die kaum merklich ovaloide Gu-Seite, eine modifizierte Form der Kuppel des Ding und Änderungen bei der Oberflächenbehandlung.
